The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard provides requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS) within an organization. Adhering to these standards enables the protection of all information and data assets for Unbabel’s provisioning and delivering of translation capabilities to its customers, including: The development, management, operation and customer support processes.

Our ISO certification cements our commitment to customer security, from the way we work, onboard, offboard people, and liaise with the ethical hacking community. Unbabel’s augmented machine translation was built with data protection at the forefront of mind — this ISO certification adds to our GDPR and CCPA compliance, with robust data encryption and anonymization to ensure the privacy of both businesses and their customers.

“Our clients trust us with their data, and we at Unbabel understand the duty of care that we have.
